La Dame d’Atours est spécialisée dans la conception et l’organisation d’expositions de costumes historiques, sur des périodes et des
thèmes divers, allant de l’Antiquité jusqu’aux années 1930.

La Dame d'Atours specialises in designing and organising exhibitions of historical costumes covering various periods and themes, from antiquity to the 1930s.
Here are some photos of the various exhibitions held abroad in recent years :
For this exhibition, around forty costumes have been selected to complement
the works of the Arkas Foundation. Drawn from the collection of La Dame d’Atours
or created especially for this event, they bring to life, in full size, the
clothing and characters depicted in the artworks.
Antique accessories complement this display to evoke the diversity and
richness of European fashion, from the early 19th century to the 1920s,
as depicted in painting. Thus, the history of fashion and
dressing practices helps us understand the social codes of an era
and sheds particular light on the works and the intentions of the painters.
